Over 70 percent of our planet is covered with water. Sure that maybe a lot, but only 2.5 percent of that water is freshwater. Everyone needs freshwater and with over 6.5 billion people in the world splitting that 2.5% can be hard. So saving every last drop of water is very important for us.

If that is not enough to convince you, how about this. With all the news about global warming and climate change, the water companies have raised their prices so that they can profit off of this situation. People do not know enough about water conservation, and the rich water-companies are getting richer, profiting of the people.
